The humble thermostat is getting a 21st-century makeover. And so is the boombox, thanks to a son of the late reggae legend Bob [...] Stop mourning wannabe rock stars — Guitar Hero is coming back. We heard the rumors of its demise were greatly exaggerated , but now word has come straight from Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick that the game is currently being reinvented for a modern, more demanding [...] It was with heavy heart that we reported in February the Guitar Hero franchise was dead , done in by an addiction to half-baked sequels and a growing tolerance of [...] Activision might have killed its Guitar Hero franchise but that’s not stopping rivals, Harmonix, makers of Rock Band from snatching up whatever’s left of the music rhythm [...] If you thought you’ve seen the last of the “Hero” games from Activision, well you were [...] Wow, just wow. I’m speechless at the news that Activision has announced they’re shutting down their RedOctane division which makes made the fantastically popular Guitar Hero [...] We’ll forgive you if you thought the Xperia Play was eons before.
